If you are sure that's what caused the light to come on, you could disconnect the battery negative cable, wait a few seconds and hook it back up. But make sure you have the security code for the radio before hand if it needs one.
You can also remove the ECM fuse from the fuse box for a few seconds and then replace it. Doing this you don't lose any of the memory setting to your accessories.
Use a scanner if you don't have one an evap code is a 2 trip code so make sure your gas cap is on tight and after 2 trip meaning you drive the car normal from cool start to full warmed up 2 times and the light will go off make sure you have a full tank of gas because the evap monitor will only run if there is more than a half tank of fuel
