If a window sticks closed, try this. Switch on the ignition, open the door and get an assistant to depress the up button. As they do so, place your palms on either side of the glass and push upwards on the window. (This procedure cannot be carried out without the aid of an assistant unless you are a contortionist with long arms and/or legs.) Thereafter, disconnect the electric window rocker switches and use the sun roof instead.
If this doesn't work, or the window is wide open, there's not much choice but to take the door panel off. Next, get a car battery and two reasonably long lengths of spare automotive wiring. Disconnect the power terminals from the window motor and replace them with the two spare wires. When secured, touch the opposite end of one of the spare wires onto the negative terminal of the battery and then place the other bare wire onto the positive terminal. The window will then go straight up to the fully closed position. If not, swap the wires around.
