Such as; make, model and year of your vehicle and what kind of problems you are having with the vehicle. Such as; Does the shifter go into gear? Is it not engaging in any gears or just some?
Is it an automatic or manual transmission?

Some transmissions are controlled through vacuum, some are controlled with a throttle valve cable, etc.
