My first car was a 1965 green Chevy Corvair. 95 whopping horse power, 3 speed on the floor, no AC, heat didn't work and single speed wipers. Not much of a car but it was mine and I loved it. This pic isn't my car but it looks exactly like it.

The Envy of all MANKIND . . . .

74 Buick Estate, Station Wagon. Clark W. Griswald would be proud!!

This bad boy had a 455 V8 engine and Chugged Gasoline . . . It didn't sip it. It was $150 from an old lady in our church, and it took some bondo and elbow grease to make it road worthy.

When my mother FIRST told me she would get me a car, she brought me to a tricked out Chevy Nova . . . Which was very cool looking . . . THIS could have been my first car -

One ensures you stay a virgin, the other promote promiscuity . . . I'll let you decide which is which.

See that roof rack on top of that car of mine? . . . Many times friends would ride up on that down a well known back road with no Street lights at night . . . I would shut off the headlights and all you saw was starry night and you only felt wind in your face . . . to be that young and ignorant again.

I often wonder how I escaped injury in my younger days.

It was a pink hand-me-down, almost new, American Motors Rambler.

My family had a 1970 Ford Galaxy 4 door. This isn't it but this is what it looked like but in better shape. It is even the same nasty green. We bought it a state auction from the DOT. The great thing about was people often thought we were unmarked cops and they would slow down and move out of the way. Lol

My next car was so much cooler. A 1969 Firebird. Oh, I loved driving the "Firechicken"! The only thing was the vinyl seats in Florida. In the summer, you would either burn your thighs sitting on them or you would stick to them. This was the car that I learned to drive with a stick shift. It looked something like this, but had a white hardtop.

I miss this car.

One of these, after some work on the engine, it was pushing out 70+ bhp at the rear wheels, not much these days but enough to surprise a few people back then...
