7/10 my right front wheel had white smoke coming from it and smelled like burning rubber. I had a mechanic lift up the car the next day, no sign of leaking, no sign of any thing, nothing, everything was clean.
7/24 It's back.

Brakes could be locking up intermittently i seen this on alot of gm cars the brake hose from the frame to the caliper on the front wheels is bad

If it's front wheel drive, it's probably a CVC joint going out as the grease is probably leaking from a tear in the CVC boot.

If it's rear wheel drive ? I would say that it's probably a worn out wheel bearing.

Could also be the the balance on the tire or a suspension problem that is causing the wheel to come out of alignment. Best thing to do is have a mechanic do a complete front end check to make sure. Lot's of little things like that can cause a major problem later on.

Could even be bad brakes or a warped rotor.

Glad a real mechanic looked at it ! Worth the money to get it fixed right the first time.

At least 16 years of gunk will be gone. But not the real problem. Thanks ☺

Probably an oil pan leak or a front or rear seal. We used to steam clean all cars that had problems like that.
