My sister had a car which she LOVED right before she passed away. It was a Honda Accord. Then when she went to Heaven, her daughter gave it to me cuz she did not need it. Lets just say my theory became my sister saying from Heavens doors "If I can't have it NO ONE can!" I swore that car was possessed! LOL!

Now my Toyota Cressida WAS the best vehicle I ever had. This car went through a car accident where some stoned minor driving his daddy's vehicle hit my husband head on in a parking lot and we did not have the money to pay for it to be fixed. So we got someone to pull out the front end with a big chain and" jimmied" a head light in to make it legal AND IT OUT LIVED EVERYONE'S CAR IN THE FAMILY! Everyone else got a new car before WALMART killed my Cressida by not putting in the oil plug and it killed my motor. :0(

Lol. And that sucks, im convinced the person who hit me was high or stoned too. She was giving the cop her car's manual instead of insurance and licenses and stuff like that. Cant stand people who drive messed up. Anyway, do you happen to have a picture of it? funny how it out-lived everyone.

It was my mom's, and when she passed it came to me although I was only 12. My dad helped me get it running when I was 17...was a lot of fun, but for a young girl, it was a lot of upkeep as parts weren't cheap!

The best in my '98 Mustang convertible. I have been driving that car for 18 years without any major issues. The worst was an '87 Ford Tempo. That thing was in the shop more often than it wasn't. My mechanic was on the phone with Ford trying to figure out what was wrong. I finally just told him to get it running enough for me to trade it in.

A convertible must be perfect in Florida.
I had a Tempo too. It didn't have a bunch of mechanical issues, but it was kinda boring.

The Mustang was my first wedding anniversary gift. (Also a consolation prize for not being able to have kids.) My husband told me I could chose between a GT and a convertible, but we couldn't afford a GT Convertible. I took the convertible. I hare a bit of a lead foot and a GT would have been too much temptation.

That's a wonderful gift. ❤️
I used to have a lead foot. A ticket cured me. Thank heavens for cruise control !

I've only owned two cars so far. The worst was my 1998 Nissan Altima. The previous owner didn't take good care of it and I had to fix most of the issues. My best is my 2007 Acura TL. It's had a few problems but nothing too major.

We rented an Altima, when a HUGE farm combine side swiped my son's parked car. I wasn't real impressed.
Corey The Goofyhawk
Oh really. The new Altima is my favorite vehicle in Enterprise's fleet. Yikes on the combine!!

It was old and pretty torn up. I took pictures with my phone before we left the lot, so they couldn't blame us.

Hard to say:  Had an '89 Celica Convertible that was a truly fun cart to drive.  Also had a "69 VW Bug thart I drove for 20 years.

And a contender for both best ans worst was a "59 Hillman Estate Sedan (Brit for Station Wagon).  So much fun to drive, but typical '50s British car - pieces just fell off.  Pulled out of my driveway once and the rear bumper fell off.  Had the battery fall out driving down the freeway.  Cables kept it attached, but it bumped along until I could get to the side and tie it back ibn.

I agree, I think I'd struggle without power steering now, I've got osteoarthritis in my hands, and suffer with my shoulders and neck too. My partner collects very old cars, much older than my VW, but I wish I still had her now, although parts are hard to come by. The older cars are much easier to fix, because they have no electrics. Electrics make us dependent on manufacturers.
