It's not a "spin-on" filter sitting outside the engine like we're used to. Its a paper element that
sits in the canister just in front of your yellow dipstick. It requires a 24mm (or 15/16 inch)
socket to remove. Take off the plastic engine cover for better access and put some rags or paper towels around it because its going to drip. Be sure to insert the new filter the same way the old one came out-it only works in one direction.
