Now if my overflow is leaking when its just sitting would I be able to fix it with out bringing it to a garage
Check float level in carburator. Probably set to high, or float could be stuck,not shutting gas supply off
It depends is it a dirt bike,or street bike
those are called over flow tubes for a reason.
For instance dirt= wheelies wrecks jumps, its normal!!!!!
Street= wheelies stopies and such, its normal!!!!!
If it just sets there and leaks its you float valve in your carb.
If its a harley and its a S&S carb, its the fuel rod not seated correctly or dirty.

Check your hoses for cracks and holes and check your gaskets.
