Try and unplug then plug back in the EGR sensor.. If that doesnt fix it then you need to replace the EGR tube itself..
Would check the gas cap first to make sure it is in good condition and nice and tight.
A reading of EGR code sometimes comes up because of uneven gas to air ratio.
Always good to check the simple things first. If you find a loose or bad gas cap and fix the problem, it could take a day or two for the light to go off.
