No way everyone in my family spends lots of money on their pets and they feed squirrels, raccoons and birds

Not that i could think of.

Personally i care about Animal lives and rights. They have no guilt about existence of humans on earth. We claim we are the greatest creature! So we should show such civilization and protect them as much as we can and make sure we don't cross our feet toward their natural homes either.

Dear Jan,

Never Never Never

What I was taught as a driver is that you can brake down (on an isolated country road) to avoid hitting animals, but not to swerve - for safety reasons yourself and passengers.

Only once was I unable to avoid hitting an animal, a squirrel, and what I did was to go back to make certain it was really dead and so not suffering... ย  ย  ย  ย  I was in tears but that was all I could do.

My husband taught me the same thing Gators father taught her. The only casualty he ever had was when he was training a trainee. The trainee accidentally hit an elk and it did A LOT of damage to the rig. There was nothing the trainee could have done. It was laying in the road trying to cool off if I remember correctly.

My father was a truck driver. While he never went out of his way to hit an animal, he has also not gone out of his way to miss a few. You cannot slam on the brakes and stop, nor can you just swerve to miss an animal when you vehicle weighs 80,000 lbs. And you are traveling at highway speeds. It is unfortunate, but he had to think of his safety and that of those driving near him.

No. I always try my best to avoid any kind of animal on the road.

No! I have never done such a thing and I would never allow
any of my family member or friends to do it. How can someone hurt an animal
deliberately? I think that only heartless human beings would do so. Most
animals are run over unintentionally, that is, by accident.
