I got a text msg from a company stating that I must return the car I rented or it will get repossessed. I never subscribed to this company, how did they get my info?

It could be spam, especially if you've never rented from that company. If you know the name of the company, put that in your search engine on the Internet and see what you come up with. In addition, you might be able to search the phone number on the text message.

In the past few days, I've had Kelly Services (a temp agency), the "IRS" (NOT - they don't send text messages) and various other companies text me.

It's the season for spam. Check it out first. Don't respond to the text!

Don't respond to the text that you recieve from them. Sometimes they want to send a message to someone else but by mistake sent to you. You should find address of that company and do talk with them if you never rented a car.
