No, not at all. I find the modern VW's to be almost as good looking as the models from the 70's.

I don't think so at all. I think they are fine looking German cars. They even modernized the Beetle too. Much better looking than some of these Hyundai's and such.

Personally, I am a fan of the Jetta. The ones I have driven are rather fast and simple, which can be nice. A friend of mine owns the 8 cylinder Touareg, which is an amazing 5 passenger SUV! I also love VWs luxury devision, Audi. Best of luck to you!
