Henry Ford went to college at the Detroit Business Institute.
Or at least that's what the college goes by today. It's been known by several different names throughout the decades - and has also merged with other colleges.
It was originally founded in 1887 as a combination of two different local colleges that date back to the 1850s:
Spencerian Business College
Goldsmith Business College
You might also be interested to know that, after becoming successful, Henry Ford went on to found 55 educational institutions of his own.
Among them was the Henry Ford Trade School, which was set up to help boys from poor background learn skills that would help them support their families.
