Try Gmail - it's the most popular email provider, so I guess there must be a reason!

You just have to visit the site and follow the instructions given. You can choose between signing up if you haven't already got your email ID or signing in if you have already got an account. If you have forgotten any of your email ID information, you merely have to click either the link
referring to losing your password or losing your username/email address and they will send you an email containing your details to the account that you offered as an alternative account when you initially signed up to use the email services...

There are many free email service providers through which you can sign up for a free account. Gmail is the most common name suggested by everyone as it comes from the most reputable company Google. But, there are a few more to get your eyeballs rolling on it. Some of them include :

1. Outlook.com from Microsoft

2. Yahoo mail

3. Aol Mail

4. Mail.com lets you get an email address of your choice like [email protected] etc., from 200+ domains listed out there.

5. Yandex mail

6. India.com

7. Rediff mail

A good article about such email services can be found at gmail alternatives written by netdhunia . Hope it answers and solves your query.

Happy surfing :-)
