Due to you not stating what model of Renault tractor you own, it is difficult to give you specific advice.

  • OptiTrack
There is a system that can be installed on several Renault tractors, called OptiTrack which enables the tractor to switch from 2x4 to 4x4. You can find more details on the OptiTrack system and also watch a video of it in action at the following link www.roadtransport.com/blogs/big-lorry-blog/2010/09/new-renau

  • Ask the seller you bought the tractor from
It would certainly be a good idea to contact the seller about your problem. Your tractor may still be in warranty and so you could even be able to get the problem looked at and fixed free of charge. Even if your warranty has expired with the seller, it is still advised to contact them and explain your issue. They most likely will have come across the problem with a previous owner and should be able to advise you on what may need fixing or how to rectify the problem yourself.

  • Visit a Renault tractor online forum
You may find that visiting an online forum that is specific to Renault tractors could bring about the answer to your question. These forums are free to join and you can post any questions or queries you have and they will be answered by fellow owners of Renault tractors. This means you will get sound advice from people with real experience.
