VW Golf and VW Rabbit.
The Golf was supposed to refer to new wind or a fresh breeze but Americans thought "golf cart" and the MK1 body'd vehicles were marketed in USA as Rabbit, a spirited run-about (eventually superceded by the Fox).
The USA Plymouth Horizon is the European Omni. They're both Rabbit clones. :-) First thing to do is "pop off" the logo. :-)
