With some cars and trucks removing the headrest is pretty straight forward. However, with the Holden Rodeo RA LX 4x4 Single Cab the procedure is a bit different. There is a sliding spring loaded clip on the back of each headrest stem located under the plastic ferrule. It is difficult to find at first but but you will be able to feel it as you move the headrest up and down. There are two different ways in which to remove the headrest:
If you don't have a screwdriver to hand you can always use your fingers. Position your fingers beneath the plastic clip and push it open. Ensure you are pushing towards the front of the car. The headrest should pop open.
These methods should work for most models of the RA Series Holden Rodeo.
