Which is more preferable garage door: Manual or Automatic?
I prefer the automatic doors, I like the convenience.
I like my automatic garage door because I don't like exiting the car outside. (Especially late at night or in bad weather.)
For me manual less crap to break down
I've had my automatic electric garage door for about 15 years now and never have had a bit of trouble with it. Manual ? That's old school. One push of a button and it rolls right up. I would never change back to a manual one. Lift Master is the best !
Automatic.
With but a pull of a cord it can become manual . . . So the best of both worlds.
Automatic. You don't have to get out of your car to open or close it.
Though I never had a place that had a garage, since I live in the city, but I'd assume manual would work better, because if the power goes out your SOL :)
