Sounds like a problem with the alternaorr go to the auto zone or car care center have them run a check on your battery and alternator
My car seems to jerk sometimes while I'm driving mostly when I take my foot off the accelerator and put it back on. I also tried to start it today and it made no sound it was completely dead, a flashing car with a spanner appeared on the dash board?
Alternator and or battery is shot, take it down to local parts house and have them tested. You may have to buy both
