I have been ran over so many times, I lost count.  What started doing is carrying a slingshot with a big golf ball in it in plain sight. Only had to use it once. Knocked the guy's back window out. He told the other neighborhood nitwits and when they see me walking, they stay home, until I get home.

I have not had that happen to me, but I think alot of people when they are behind the wheel are preoccupied most of the time, they are not aware of their surroundings or what they are doing.  Many times you hear such horrible incidents that occur from auto related fatality and most are when people are not paying attention.

No they don't in my neighborhood, this sounds suspicious what has happened in your neighborhood. Every once in a while, I see someone drift to the side a little bit, but nothing like yours.

That's pretty much what happened to me. Needless to say i don't go near the road road when vehicles are driving through. Now when i do my walk i walk behind the tree line, that way if they run off the road they will have to go through a tree or 2 before hitting me. : ).anyway recently in the news we have had 3 people hit by cars while walking and now the bright mayor wants to put in bicycle lanes next to the main traffic lanes where cars can drift over and hit them doing 35-45 mph.
