The fuel filter is located just in front of the fuel tank,on the driver's side.you will have to jack the car up to get at it. Open your gas tank door, and remove gas cap.this will help relieve pressure.you need a 16mm wrench for the fuel line fitting, and a 20mm wrench for the fuel filter.carefully turn one wrench against the other until compression fitting breaks loose.some gas will leak,so watch your eyes.when it's loose enough, you can unscrew this part the rest of the way by hand.now, move to your left, and disconnect the male end of filter from fuel line.there is a cutout in this part of the line with a plastic retaining clip.there is a tab on this clip that you have to flip up.then, take a small screwdriver, and carefully push the bottom of this clip away from you until the filter will pull out.be very careful with this clip.install new filter in reverse order.

The fuel filter is located between the gas tank and the rear suspension. There is a clip holding the fuel line to one side of the filter and a line nut holding the other side. Use a 16mm and a 20mm wrench for the "side with the tubing nut. The clip side has a green clip. Use a small screw driver to pop open the snap then tilt the filter toward the opening somewhat to extract. Do not use excessive force!! Just enough to free it. Putting it back on is just the opposite.
