If you still have your manual for your HP desktop then it may well be worth looking in there first to see if they have included the appropriate diagram. However, if you have lost your manual or you bought your computer second hand, you could download one in a PDF format from the following website:

You will see that it has an extensive list of models of all the HP desktop computers. It would be a good idea to download the PDF file and print out the relevant page so you can still view it when you have your computer dismantled.

Another way of finding out how to re-wire your computer would be to either take it to a computer store that specializes in repairing computers or to telephone such a store for their advice.
