How Do I Program My Car Remote?

Every car make, and sometimes every model, will have a different method of programming the remote. Do a more specific search for your vehicle's model and year to learn how to program the remote. The first answer is completely wrong though, that's how you program something like a VCR remote. Haha.

I have a 97 cad I lost the remote but I have a remote for a old car can I program it to the cad

I bough a 2006 chevy malibu but my remotes don't work how do I programs them to my car????

First of all turn your device manually off. Second step press code search till indicator link blinks. Third: Release button. Forth: Now you press and release buttons for programming device. Enter code to your device. Aim towards remote and device face to face and power on.
Channel up press that will prompt and its done.

I have a 1 basic pro start remote car starter. It worked ok for 2 years now it still starts my car but my defroster fan will not come on although it is on, and when I put the key in the defroster fan starts. I'm sure it is a programming issue which hopefully can be corrected using my remote with certain button sequence?

I bought 99 skoda octavia station wagon. My remote is not doing its work.key is ok coz it blinks LED on it as I press any button. Also central locking is working in my car. But both are not synchronised with each other. My remote key is built in with key blade with skoda emblem on one side .on other side are two buttons(lock & unlock) & one LED light.

I just broke my car remote if buy a new one does it come with program or how do I program it?
